Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website may use 'cookies' and similar technologies to ensure the functionality of the site and to facilitate its use. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device and do not cause any harm there. We distinguish between the following categories:

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the website to function properly (e.g. to display the page, use the contact form or save your cookie settings). We process these cookies on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, as we have a legitimate interest in ensuring the website functions correctly. Consent is not required for this.

Newsletter

We offer a newsletter through which we provide information about news regarding our platform, product updates, security-related information, events and promotional content (e.g. product announcements, offers, marketing information).

1.1 Subscribing to the newsletter

We require your email address to send you the newsletter. Subscription is via a double opt-in procedure: after registering, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription. Your email address will only be activated for the newsletter after this confirmation.

The legal basis for sending the newsletter, including the sending of advertising, is your consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR in conjunction with Section 7(2)(3) of the UWG.

Your consent covers both information about our platform and promotional content (e.g. information about new features, offers, events or services).

1.2 Delivery service providers

We use external service providers (e.g. email or marketing providers) to send the newsletter. Processing is carried out on the basis of a data processing agreement in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR.

We will provide a current list of the service providers used upon request.

1.3 Logging

The following data is logged in connection with newsletter registration and dispatch:

  • Time of registration and confirmation
  • IP address at the time of registration
  • Technical metadata (e.g. browser, device type)
  • Open and click rates (provided you have given your consent)

Performance measurement (open and click rates) is carried out on the basis of your consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.

Logging is carried out on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR in order to be able to verify the registration process and to optimise the newsletter technically.

1.4 Withdrawal of consent and unsubscribing

You may withdraw your consent at any time. You can unsubscribe via the link at the bottom of each newsletter. Once you have unsubscribed, your email address will be removed from the newsletter mailing list immediately.

06

Disclosure of Data

Data will only be disclosed to third parties if this is necessary to process your enquiry or if we are legally obliged to do so. Recipients may include, in particular, IT service providers, hosting providers or communication service providers.
