Tool · Reporting deadlines
Incident detected.
What has to be reported by when?
Enter when you learned of the incident. The calculator shows the deadline for each report under NIS2 or DORA, with date, time and time remaining. Everything runs in your browser.
Enter the time of becoming aware to see the deadlines.
Good to know
- The clock starts when you become aware, not when the analysis ends. Note the date and time before you do anything else.
- The calculator does not replace legal advice. What counts is section 32 of the German BSI Act (BSIG) or Art. 19 DORA and the regulatory technical standards; for weekends and public holidays, these provide relief under DORA that you should check in each case.
- Whether an incident is significant and whether you fall under NIS2 at all, clarify beforehand with the NIS2 check.
- Templates for all three NIS2 reports are available free of charge under Working materials.
